Introduction of PVC Flooring

2020.02.28

PVC floor refers to the floor made of polyvinyl chloride material. Specifically, it is made of polyvinyl chloride and its copolymer resin as the main raw materials, and is added with fillers, plasticizers, stabilizers, colorants and other auxiliary materials. It is produced on a sheet-like continuous substrate through a coating process or by calendering, extrusion or extrusion process.

PVC (polyvinyl chloride), the structural formula of its monomer is CH2=CHCl, and the structure is as follows: [-CH2-CHCl-]n. The carbon atoms are arranged in a zigzag shape, and all atoms are connected by σ bonds. All carbon atoms are sp3 hybridized.

From the structural point of view, there are mainly three types: multi-layer composite type, homogeneous permeable type and semi-homogeneous type. The so-called multi-layer composite PVC floor means that it has a multi-layer structure, which is generally composed of 4~5 layers of structure stacked, generally with a wear-resistant layer (including UV treatment), a printed film layer, and a glass fiber layer.
