The fitting of fan tiles into an under floor air conditioning system has many advantages.

These include: Low Pressure Floor Plenum. As the fan tiles effectively draw air through the system the floor plenum does not have to be overly pressurised.

This also has advantages as the sealing of the floor plenum is not as stringent as with a displacement vent system.

As the fan tiles mix room and under floor air the supply air temperature off the Zone AHU can be lower. The relocation fan tiles to suit changing layouts is as easy as removing a floor tile.

Fan tile systems can be set up to allow users to have a degree of personal control over their own micro-climate.
